María Elena is drawn to bold colors, reminiscent of her origins in southern Peru, and she showcases this vibrant palette in her paintings and ceramics. In her lifestyle, she prioritizes music and warmth, both from human connection and the environment. She loves art in all its forms and believes it allows us to embrace cross-cultural differences with greater openness.

As curator of Intussen, she hopes to build a legacy of solidarity. She is open to working with artists based in the Netherlands or abroad and is driven to discover new talents with fresh perspectives.
