Ontwerpstudio Familiemusea is the design and consulting firm of Mijke de Hartog and Marie Anne Remmelink. We help professionals in museums large and small, to give families an unforgettable day.

The idea is pretty simple: if your museum is generation-proof, families will feel welcome and attentive to the story you want to convey. But what do families really want? What do they expect and what do they need to make their museum visit successful? In other words, how do you become a family-friendly museum?

* Want to improve your service for families? You can come to us for: advice, coaching, training, inspiration trips and scans. With inspiring tools we explore together what drives families. That is the basis for developing family-friendly offerings and family-friendly service: appropriate facilities, exhibitions, education and communication.

* We create playful educational products that families can have fun with together: experiments, studio assignments, games, family trails, activity books, audio tours.
