Kick Veldman (Amsterdam, 2000) wanted to become an inventor as a child. He now lives out that dream in his practice as an artist. With a great curiosity for the origins of everyday objects, he investigates their details and meanings. Veldman studies how people through time interact with everyday objects and what symbolic value they have. From these insights, he engages in various artistic experiences, deepening his connection with these objects and literally reshaping them. The goal is to make the extraordinary in the ordinary tangible, and to invite others to see the world full of objects in a different way.
